Inclement Weather Conditions - Public Service Travel Advisory: Atlantic City Expressway motorists please note -
During severe weather conditions, including heavy rain, fog, snow, sleet, freezing rain, or any combination of wintry mix conditions the regular posted speed limit of 65 MPH on the Atlantic City Expressway is subject to reduction. This information will be displayed on message signs located along the expressway.
Travel advisories and speed limit reductions will also be conveyed to local media and traffic services for public announcements and the NJ DOT for posting to their websites.

AC EXPRESSWAY - BRIGANTINE CONNECTOR TEMPORARY CLOSURE: The Atlantic City Expressway-Brigantine Connector will be closed in its entirety on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 between the hours of 9 a.m and noon for an emergency excercise.
Variable Message Signs have already been placed at locations near the tunnel to alert travelers, as they must seek other routes during the exercise.
The Connector will resume normal operation immediately following the procedure.
SJTA communications will be placing travel alert notification on the NJ DOT 511 site.
